Artisan - In the tribal region of Jhabua, Alirajpur and Dahod districts highly skilled women in beadwork are given a higher stature in society corresponding to their excellence in beadwork. Little girls inherit the skill from their mothers and grandmothers. Their hierarchical position in the family is born out of her prowess in beadwork. Adaptation - Beadwork is a form of active meditation and works like a chant for the maker as the work absorbs them fully into it. It brings peace to the creator as well as the wearer resemblant to Virgo's deep-rooted presence in the material world.
